With over 30 years of experience in wealth management, Todd founded Mercer Wealth Management in 2021 as an independent firm, following a nine-year career at Merrill. Todd launched his firm with his partners as they shared a passion to provide an even higher level of service and a much broader range of solutions to his clients.

While at Merrill, Todd served as a Managing Director and Wealth Management Advisor, focusing on investment strategies, estate planning services and trust related matters, corporate retirement plan services, business succession, life, disability, and long-term care insurance* and liability management. He holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠ (CRPS®) designation, Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P®) designation, Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation, and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) designation. Todd was recognized on the 2019 and 2020 Financial Times “401 Top Retirement Advisers” list, as well as being named to Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” in 2020. He was also a 2021 Barrons Best in State Advisor.

Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Todd served as a commissioned officer and helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville. He has proudly served on many charity boards and is currently serving as a member of the Arts & Sciences Dean’s Council of the University of Louisville. Todd lives in Anchorage with his wife, Derika, and their three children. He is an avid aviation enthusiast and enjoys flying airplanes and helicopters in his spare time. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and training his Labrador Retriever, Gauge.
