Emmett joined Mercer Wealth Management at its inception, following his time at Merrill Lynch, where he worked alongside Todd Mercer and Lexie Head. As a Wealth Advisor, Emmett follows a goals-based approach to wealth management, placing the client's unique objectives at the heart of the process.
Before transitioning to wealth management, Emmett completed eight years of military service, obtaining the rank of Captain and serving as Pilot-in-Command of the UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Management. His experience as an Army officer and Blackhawk pilot has honed his leadership, disciplined initiative, and complex problem-solving skills, all of which he applies to helping clients set and achieve their financial goals. Emmett received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School.
Emmett holds the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 FINRA registrations. He also earned the Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (SE-AWMA®) designation, equipping him with specialized knowledge to help high-net-worth clients in sports and entertainment preserve, grow, and transfer their wealth.
Outside of work, Emmett and his wife have two sons. He serves as President of the West Point Society of Kentucky (Louisville Chapter). In his spare time, Emmett enjoys golf, fitness, and cheering on the Army Black Knights football team, the team he played for during college.
