Emmett joined Mercer Wealth Management at its inception, having worked with Todd Mercer and Lexie Head at Merrill Lynch since 2019. Prior to joining Merrill, he completed eight years of military service, earning the rank of Captain and Pilot-in-Command of the UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter.
Emmett graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Management. As a United States Army Officer and Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot, he built a skillset that combines leadership experience, disciplined initiative and complex problem-solving skills in order to set and achieve goals. Emmett’s final assignments in the Army gave him leadership experience at the Executive Level while serving as Aide-de-Camp to a US Army Major General. His work on the General’s Strategic Staff specialized in communicating and implementing organizational priorities, and leveraging relationships with Military partners, Foreign Embassies and The Pentagon.
As a financial advisor, Emmett’s focus is to deliver a goals-based wealth management process that places the client as the central priority. Emmett holds his SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 FINRA registrations.
He and his wife, Rachael, are active members of Metro United Way which serves the Greater Louisville Community. Emmett serves as President of the West Point Society of Kentucky (Louisville). He is also a member of the Waypoint Society. Emmett enjoys golf, all types of physical fitness, and cheering for the team he played for in college- the Army Black Knights football team.
